DUBLIN, 6 NOVEMBER 1956 On behalf of the State of Ireland, I, Liam Cosgrave, Minister for External Affairs, declare that the State of Ireland hereby unreservedly accepts the obligations of the Charter of the United Nations and undertakes to honour them as from the date of its admission to the Organisation.
