No. 3043. ALBANIA: DECLARATION 1 OF ACCEPTANCE OF
THE OBLIGATIONS CONTAINED IN THE CHARTER
OF THE UNITED NATIONS. PARIS, 2 DECEMBER 1948
Paris, 2 December 1948
On behalf of the Government of the People's Republic of Albania,
being duly authorised by virtue of the plenary powers conferred for this
purpose by Enver Hoxha, President of the Council of Ministers and
Minister for Foreign Affairs, I declare that by these presents the People's
Republic of Albania accepts without reservation the obligation imposed
by the United Nations Charter and undertakes to commit no violation
thereof, as from the date when it becomes a Member of the United Nations.

Presented to the Secretary-General of the United Nations on 2 December 1948. By resolution
995 (X) adopted by the General Assembly at its 555th plenary meeting, on 14 December 1955,
Albania was admitted to membership in the United Nations.
